Vintage Horseshoe Pin Signed By Artist

This vintage sterling horseshoe pin is signed by the Denmark artist Nefrom. The pin measures 1 1/8" from east to west and 3/4" wide from north to south.
The pin closes with a catch and ball hinge.
The back is inscribed with "Sterling/Denmark/Nefrom".
The horseshoes are facing up giving the wearer good luck or saying "your luck will never run out". A flower is centered in each horseshoe.
Although I must also say the pin can be worn with the horseshoes facing down. In some parts of Europe they believe that the horseshoes should be pointing downward saying, "it must point down so the luck can pour onto you".  I believe this is circa 1950s.


Condition: Like New.

As with all of my items these come from a smoke free home.
