Sweet 12" Hilda Character Baby

This sweet Kestner Hilda baby is all of 12" tall. She has such a soft appealing look that she almost looks like a real baby.

Hilda is on a five piece composition bent leg baby body. Her bisque head is deeply inscribed with "Made In/Germany/245/JDK jr./1914/circle with C inside/Hilda". She has delicately feathered eyebrows and lashes, blue  sleep eyes, an open mouth with a protruding upper lip which rises quite high into a peek showing her two teeth. Her molding is rather appealing with her soft peachy, chubby cheeks, pug nose, dimple in her chin and narrow eye sockets. Her light mohair wig tops off her sweet innocent look. She is dressed in antique panties, cotton muslin dress, hand crochet bib and booties. To top it all off she has her pink and ivory crochet bottle holder hung around her neck. She wears a cotton hand made pink and ivory bonnet. She also comes along with her little pillow. It's made of antique sheer dotted muslin with drawn work open lace. I have paper towels inside to make it look like a pillow.

Condition: Great! Her composition is fantastic and without any repaint. She does have slight wear to her fingers. Her bisque head is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. She does have a very slight and I mean slight nose scuff. She does have her original plaster pate.    

As with all of my items she comes from a smoke free home.
