Antique 12" Simon & Halbig Child Doll Circa 1890s

This 12" Simon & Halbig child doll is mold number 1079. She is the perfect size doll for that special cabinet or for a larger doll to hold.

Her bisque socket head is inscribed SH 1079//3//Dep. She has delicately feathered brows and lashes, brown sleep eyes, with attractive coral bow shaped lips helping to show off her four teeth. The detailed molding around her eyes and mouth give her such an innocent look. She has pierced ears and a light brown mohair wig.  Her composition body retains a wonderful patina with slight normal wear.

She is wearing vintage sheer cotton pantaloons, half petticoat and a sheer pink cotton dress made from vintage material. Her shoes and socks are antique. Her bonnet is also new.

Condition: Very good. She has ear flakes on both ears (please see pictures) and wig pulls (please see pictures). Her bisque is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind other then what I mentioned above. Please note black artist mark on upper forehead. Her body retains her original patina with normal wear.
