17" Antique Handwerck Lady  Doll

This is a doll from my own collection. She came from an estate sale. The woman had only a few dolls but the dolls she had were fantastic!
She measures 17" tall. The perfect size. Her body is stamped Handwerck. The patina on her body is all original and fantastic!
Her bisque head is inscribed 109. She has brown open/close eyes. Her eyebrows are beautifully feathered. She has painted upper and lower lashes. She has beautiful two tone coral lips that are open showing her teeth. Her complexion is smooth and pale with just a touch of cheek color. The perfect complexion for the 1880s child. Her mohair wig matches her eyebrows perfectly!
Her clothing is made of a thin silk tapestry. She has beautiful antique buttons down the front. Under her skirt and top she is wearing antique pantaloons and slip. Her socks are also antique. Her shoes are replacement shoes. She is holding a crocheted early purse. Her hat is also antique and absolutely beautiful! It is woven with pink and cream feathers with green glass beads. Her earring are also original to her.

Condition: Great. Her bisque head is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. Her composition is great. I am unable to undress her but from what I can see she looks great. Her skirt and top is shredding and has age stains.

She is absolutely great! Even with the damage to her skirt and top it does not take away from her at all! As with all of my items she comes from a smoke free home.
