17" Kestner Child Doll Circa

This is one of the sweetest Kestner Child dolls I have seen! She is mold number 167 and stands 17" tall. What a great cabinet size doll! She has a great composition body with the most wonderful patina. She does not have any repaint. On her fingers you can see the original red finger paint. Her bisque head is deeply inscribed "Made In Germany/167". She has her original plaster pate. Her blond wig is mohair and compliments her darker blond eyebrows perfectly. Her eyebrows are feather painted with slight molding to them. When you feel them you can feel the molding. She has painted upper and lower lashes. Her mouth is open showing her teeth. Her sweet pink lips are two tone. Her upper lip is shaped almost as the Bru Jne doll lips are. She has a sweet dimple in her chin.
She is wearing a hand made antique thin cotton muslin skirt with open embroidered trim around the hem line. It has one button in back. Her blouse matches her skirt and has four buttons in back. She has a pink multi-color ribbon around her waist. Under her dress is an antique cotton one piece pantaloon/chemise. Over that is an antique flannel half petticoat. She is wearing an antique flannel pink hand made cape that matches her antique pink socks. Her shoes are antique white shoes with replacement pink ribbons for closure. Her bonnet is a new replacement felt bonnet with vintage cloth flowers on either side. It ties with a gross grain ribbon.

Condition: Great. Her bisque is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. I do have to tell you that her shoes are to big for her. They are the shoes that she was wearing when she came to me. I have stuffed them with tissue to fit better. She really doesn't care since she's really not walking to far these days. I should also mention that her left sleeve is starting to shred. It's just so thin. It does not take away from the doll at all.
