Chinese Cloth Family Circa 1920

This vintage Chinese cloth family is the same as the other family only they are off of the cardboard. When you think about it if the child wanted to play with these dolls they had to take them off of the cardboard.  

The little dolls rage in size from 3 1/4" to 1 3/4".  All the dolls have silk faces and hand painted features. They are dressed in cotton outfits. Most dolls that were made in the South of China were made from silk and cotton as well as other light fabrics.

These dolls were made to represent people from daily life. As you can see these represent members of a family. These dolls were made from the early 1920s to 1930s.

Condition:  They are great! All are in gently used condition. 

As with all of my items these come from a smoke free home.
