Antique German Boy China Head CA 1890s

This wonderful German china head boy measures 21" tall and is on a muslin body stuffed with sawdust.

His black hair has an unpainted part line with short curly hair, one stroke black brows, two tone blue eyes, black iris with a white dot painted to the left of the iris, red eye dots, full coral lips with a darker line evident between the lips. His cheeks are a nice rosy color giving his over all look that of a young boy. 

He is dressed in the clothing that was originally made for him. He has on navy blue trousers, white muslin shirt felt navy jacket with two felt flowers sewn onto his lapel a large multi-color sash around his waist and an anchor necklace sewn onto his shirt.

He has Kintzback china hands with molded black boots.

Condition: Wonderful. He is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. He does have a few paint scuffs. His trousers are faded. Please see pictures for condition. There is also a very small pin hole in his trousers. His muslin shirt does have shredding in the back. I believe his china legs are replacements.

This is a wonderful German boy china head. It's hard to find a boy china head that actually looks like a boy and is dressed like a boy. He would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
