This 109 Handwerck child doll is one of the most beautiful German dolls I've seen in some time. If you didn't know she was German you may think she was French.  

Her bisque socket head is inscribed 109- 7 1/2// H/ 1 on a composition and wood ball jointed body with fantastic patina. She still retains her original blonde mohair wig. She has beautifully feathered painted brows with finely painted lashes, deeply molded blue almond shaped sleep eyes, parted full coral lips showing her teeth. Her pale complexion gives her a very delicate look along with her pierced ears.   

Her antique silk type aqua hand made dress is trimmed in front with ecru lace and in back with a large fringed bow. Her dress closes in front with pins. Under her dress are her antique cotton pantaloons, full chemise and half petticoat. Her black socks and white slip on shoes are also antique. Her bonnet is early.   

Condition: Wonderful! Her bisque is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. She does have a small kiln slit on her rim. You can see it in the pictures. The back of her right ear has a small hole which looks like it happened at the factory. Please see pictures for condition. Her silk dress is delicate and melting around her shoulder area.  

She is the perfect cabinet size doll with that special French look all doll collectors want.
