Gorgeous 24" Handwerck Child Doll

Anyone who looks at this doll will see what an exceptionally beautiful doll she is. This 24" Handwerck bisque socket head is deeply inscribed with 69-12X//Germany//Handwerck//4. Her deep inscription leads me to believe she was one of the first out of the mold. She has finely painted multi stroke brows with upper and lower lashes, blue open close eyes, open mouth with 4 teeth showing, two tone coral lips, deeply molded upper philtrum with a tiny perky nose and a wonderful dimple in her chin. Her complexion is one to die for! She has the pale overall color with nice coral/rosy cheeks. Her ears are pierced. She is on a composition and wood ball jointed body which retains the wonderful original patina. She is wearing a vintage blonde mohair wig with sausage curls. She is also holding an all bisque doll that will come along with her. 

She is dressed in antique cotton pantaloons, white flannel half petticoat and one piece chemise and petticoat. Her wonderful blue cotton muslin handmade dress was made to have tiny holes throughout the dress. It closes in back with 4 tiny buttons. Her large collar is trimmed in tiny matching lace as well as her neckline and sleeves. Her dress has a wonderful large hem. Around her waist is a matching gross grain ribbon. Her cream antique socks and blue and black velvet shoes top off her wonderful outfit! Her flower head piece is new.

Condition: Excellent! Her bisque head is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. Her right upper arm does have a small repair. Not a big deal and covered when she is dressed.

She is one hard little girl to give up. Every so often you come across an extremely extra ordinarily beautiful doll. This one is it! They don't all have to be French to be beautiful!
