Kestner 143 Character Child Circa 1897

This beautiful Kestner is just 18" tall. A great cabinet size! She has the typical short blond mohair wig that the 143s are known for. She has her original plaster pate. She has brown sleep eyes with feathered eyebrows. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes. Her eye sockets are larger and very well molded giving her such a sweet look. Her mouth is open showing her two upper teeth. They are set to make her look gap-toothed. It does add to her charm. Her coral lips are full and have just a hint of a darker tone. She has a peaches and cream complexion.

Her body is all composition with ball joints. She has a wonderful patina and is without any repaint.

She is wearing an antique blouse with a vintage pinafore. She wears an antique one piece chemise and pantaloon as well as an antique half petticoat. Her socks are vintage and her shoes and hat are replacements.

 Condition:  Great she is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. She does not have any repaint.

She is a wonderful Kestner doll of just the perfect size and she's looking for a new home. Don't miss out on this one.
