Antique Turned Head Belton Doll Circa 1890s

This antique Belton doll measures 21" tall. As I acquire her that is how I have kept her dressed. She is just out of someone's attic.
She is on a leather body with bisque arms. She has a turned shoulder head that is very obvious in the pictures. She almost looks as if she's looking down.
She has wonderful coloring with light blush on her cheeks. She has brown stationary eyes with feathered eyebrows. Her mouth is open showing several teeth. Her lips have a wonderful coral outline with a deeper color inside. Her wig is a very old mohair wig. It looks handmade.
She is wearing antique pantaloons as well as antique French socks. Her dress is not antique but I would say from around the 1940s as is her shoes. Her cape is about the same age as her dress. She came with the straw hat that is vintage and from the 1970s.

Condition: Her shoulder plate and bisque arms are without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. Her shoulder head does have a dark mark on the front of her forehead. It almost looks like a black and blue mark. On the right side of her face the thinner part of her eyebrows have been removed as well as her lower lashes. It looks as if they have been cleaned off. Her body is without any leaks but her upper arm does have heavy glue residue.

This is a very affordable doll for the beginner collector as well as the seasoned collector. She has spent a good part of her life in an attic without any friend to keep her company. I think she's just looking for a good home.
As with all of my items she comes from a smoke free home.
