Antique Kestner Shoulder Head Child Doll

This wonderful Kestner Child doll measures 18" tall circa 1890s.  She has a bisque shoulder head with a leather kid body. She is incised with the mold number 148. Her arms are bisque. She has open/close blue eyes with beautifully feathered eyebrows and finely painted lashes. Her complexion is a smooth, soft peaches and cream. Her full coral lips are open showing her teeth.

She is wearing early matching pantaloons, full petticoat blue cotton print dress with a beautiful full skirt. The bodice has a V lace overlay. The dress closes with 2 snaps in back. She wears a matching bonnet early socks and antique German shoes.  She has her original pate with a replaced wig.  She comes with a vintage lace umbrella.

Condition: As you can clearly see by all the pictures her left arm has had some repair work done. Her body had some spot repair.  Her bisque shoulder head and arms are without any chips, breaks or repairs of any kind. 

As with all of my items she comes from a smoke free home.
