Needle Felted Santa By Peggy Fleming Of Iowa

This sweet little Santa was needle felted by Peggy Fleming of Iowa. He measures 4 1/2" tall.
Peggy started needle felting when her bear making friends introduced her to it. They saw bears and she saw her favorite Christmas ornament, her Dad's cotton batting Santas. Needle felting is accomplished by placing loose carded wool fibers on a protective foam pad and poking and coaxing the fibers with a sharp barbed needle until they lock and form a mass that you can sculpt into a three dimensional figure.
Peggy's needle felted Santas are built on a wire armature so that they are fully poseable. Their costumes are built on and also needle felted. Their eyes are tiny beads and their faces are enhanced by hand-coloring.

Condition: New.

As with all of my items this comes from a smoke free home.
