About Me

Hi! My name is Helen Welsh. Some of you may know me by my Ruby Lane store "Sharing My Dolls N' Stuff". Please take a moment to visit me there at www.rubylane.com/shops/sharingmydollsnstuff.     I originally started selling on the Internet 5 years ago. I was a power seller on e-bay for 2 years. When  e-bay started having problems with both the buyer and the seller I left and opened a store on Ruby Lane.   Since I had such a great response on Ruby Lane I  decided that I wanted to spread my wings and started my own site although I will continue to maintain my Ruby Lane site. 

I attend auctions on a regular basis but many of my dolls do come from private collections. My interest has grown over the years from just selling dolls to selling textiles, bears and any other item that slightly relates to dolls. I do not do doll shows. When I purchase my dolls they stay here. They are not packed and moved from place to place.  

I belong to the United Federation of Doll Clubs (UFDC) as well as the Doll Doctors Association (DDA). I attended classes and became a certified doll doctor. I did this simply so that when I was purchasing dolls I would know what I was actually purchasing. There are times when it is really hard to tell if a doll has been repaired. It helps knowing how repairs are made and what materials are used. I know what to look for. That does not make me infallible. I  occasionally still get duped.

I have made a lot of friends over the years because of my selling. I value each and every person I have met.   For me the best compliment is a repeat customer.  If you have something special you are looking for and can't find, please e-mail me, I would love to help you if I can.
