Two Vintage Composition Dolls Circa 1920s

These are two vintage composition dolls that I purchased when I was learning how to restore dolls. As you can tell they were done by a not very good restorer! I had to learn somehow.
The little boy is an Amburg pouty doll from circa 1915. He has been completely re painted from top to bottom. His body has been sewn in several places. He measures 15" tall. He has jointed arms and legs. His head also moves. His shirt is made from old cotton flannel. His overalls are corduroy and actually precious!
The little girl is from the 1920s. She is all composition and again has been completely restored. Around the same time as he was. She measures 8" tall. She is jointed at the shoulders. Her hair is real. She started out life as an Amish Man. I used the hair that was his beard and what was left on his head to make her hair.

Condition: Please see pictures and read above description. His head is loose and does need to be attached tighter.

As with all of my items they come from a smoke free home. When I say they are not done very well, what they need is to be sanded and just have the faces re painted. They are being sold as they are. I do want you to understand they are not original in any way.
